As one of New York City’s forefront female music talents, Dj Lexey is quickly gaining popularity and a following across the states and overseas. Whether entertaining the New York Yankees or playing for exclusive Saks 5th Ave events, each party is an unquestionable success.
Mixing Hip-Hop, Reggae, 80’s, Funk & Soul, Rock, House, and Salsa this DJ truly has a versatile style all her own. Never forgetting to keep the dance floor moving, Dj Lexey always puts a creative spin to her mixes. Seamlessly mixing across genres and decades, Dj Lexey consistently surprises audiences with her vast knowledge of music that came far before her time. Not to mention, most club goers aren’t expecting to see a pint sized, Caucasian, female DJ behind the decks working the dance floor and rocking her mohawk.
Russian native - Dj Lexey grew up studying classical piano and violin, later moving to New York to study at the Fashion Institute of Technology. Using her classically tuned ear, she jumped behind a pair of turntables and started practicing, collecting new and old records, and watching and listening to any DJ she could find.

After filling up a few crates, Lexey got a chance to play at some local clubs and lounges and began to build her following from students and many club goers. Soon enough, her talent and unique style got the attention of some key promoters, celebrities, and music industry elite and Lexey began working private and corporate events as well as fashion industry parties. Clients have included Bloomingdale’s, Diane vonFustenberg, Bvlgari, Adidas, New York Yankees, Guns n Roses, Sony Records, Shady Records, Absolut, Peroni, Hotel MTV–2005 VMA’s, YM Magazine, National Kidney Foundation and many others.
Teaming up with The Producer Coalition of America and The Rebellion as the official tour DJ, Lexey got the chance to work with some of the most innovative musical minds in the business responsible for producing many hits like “Where My Eyes Can See” Busta Rhymes, “Poison” Bell Biv Devoe, “Ante Up” MOP, “I Wanna Sex You Up” Color Me Badd and countless others.
Music distribution for many mix tapes and CDs has included many retailers, boutiques, salons, restaurants, art galleries and gyms. As well, collaborations have included a number of choreographers, dancers, producers, recording artists, and major PR firms in Manhattan.
After working in New York, DC, Miami and Boston work abroad was next. Playing in Florence, Italy in 2005, Dj Lexey Made her return to Rome, Italy in 2007 alongside Afrika Bambaata for the New Years Celebration for Fiera Di Roma. Since then, Dj Lexey established a monthly residence in Italy playing in major clubs and festivals cross the country.
Building her following and her musical library, Dj Lexey continues to develop her musical style, entertaining audiences all over the world.
